I am a licensed psychologist in the New Haven area with years of experience in several different schools of Psychology. I have always been fascinated with the mind. The mind and body are truly in sync and affect human interaction in very subtle, unconscious ways. The power of the mind to influence our motivations and emotions is immeasurable. The adage “mind over matter” comes to mind, even though skeptics dismiss psychology and therapy as a pseudoscience. To me, nothing could be further from the truth- and the mind has been known to trigger powerful psychosomatic and emotional reactions.
