Anxiety and Depression Treatment
I am a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience and training across a range of therapeutic approaches. I offer my clients a holistic, integrated model of care, recognizing that mental health challenges often involve a complex interplay of emotional, biochemical, physical, and cognitive factors.
In my practice, healing is an interactive and collaborative process. I create tailored treatment plans designed to meet each individual's unique needs, addressing the full range of issues that may be contributing to their distress.
Below is a brief overview of the mental wellness therapies and services I offer.
Depression and Mood Disorders
I treat a wide range of depression and mood disorders, including seasonal affective disorder (SAD), bipolar disorder, and various forms of depression—ranging from mild and major to psychotic depression. I also offer specialized care for conditions that frequently co-occur with mood disorders, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.
My work is tailored to help individuals uncover the underlying causes of their symptoms, build effective coping strategies, and move toward lasting emotional stability and resilience.
Nutritional counseling
I offer personalized nutrition counseling to help you achieve your health and weight goals in a sustainable, balanced way. Whether you're looking to improve energy, manage emotional eating, or develop a healthier relationship with food, I provide tailored guidance and practical resources that align with your individual needs, lifestyle, and wellness goals.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Living with OCD can feel overwhelming, but effective, evidence-based treatment is available. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—the gold-standard approaches for OCD—to help individuals reduce compulsive behaviors, manage intrusive thoughts, and regain a sense of control over their lives.
For clients who are also exploring the emotional roots of their symptoms or who may be navigating complex relational or developmental dynamics, I may integrate psychodynamic principles to deepen insight and support long-term growth. Treatment is always personalized, collaborative, and paced with care—because every person’s experience with OCD is different.
Phobias
I help individuals overcome a wide range of phobias, including claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces), agoraphobia (fear of open or crowded places), and acrophobia (fear of heights). Using evidence-based techniques, we work together to gradually reduce fear, build confidence, and help you regain control over the situations that once felt overwhelming.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Having worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs, I bring extensive experience in treating PTSD across a wide range of individuals and trauma histories. I use evidence-based approaches such as trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to help clients process their experiences, reduce symptoms, and reclaim a sense of safety and control.
Whether the trauma stems from military service, abuse, accidents, or other life events, I tailor treatment to each person’s needs—helping you move forward with strength, clarity, and hope.
Stress and Anxiety Management
When stress and anxiety start to interfere with your daily life, relationships, or overall well-being, therapy can make a meaningful difference. I work with clients to create personalized, practical plans to manage anxiety and reduce stress—helping you feel more grounded, in control, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
